CONTEST FACT SHEET

CONTEST GUIDELINES

  1. Write an essay of 750 words or less, based on personal experience or observations.
  2. Include your name, address, phone number, age and occupation on page one of the essay.
  3. Entry must be postmarked by April 1, 2007.
  4. Final four will be announced May 1, 2007.
  5. A parade to honor the finalists will be held June 8.
  6. Finalists must be available to compete in the final debate in New York Mills on June 9, 2007.

PRIZES

  1. $500 honoraria, travel and lodging for each of the final four
  2. Gold, Silver & bronze medals and title of "America's Greatest Thinker"
